Ramadhan Social Programs: sharing kindness & giving back to the community
Ramadhan is the month of giving and each year during this holy month, people & many nonprofit organizations or communities organize special projects to help the neediest and give back to the community. This year, in the spirit of #Dogoodbetter, the Artemis team decided to share our expertise and resources with organizations running special Ramadan programs in Indonesia.
We are glad to see the enthusiasm of all the organizations that participated in the Ramadhan NGO Feature Program. More than 40 organizations signed up and it’s amazing to see the spirit of each of these projects and the people behind them. Unfortunately, we could only select 4 organizations to receive a free Impact Theory co-creation workshop, a free pro version of the Artemis Impact platform, and exposure to our corporate partners for potential partnerships between them.
We are thrilled to announce the four organizations that won our Ramadan NGO feature program:
For Peace Project
The For Peace Project is an independent and nonpartisan platform that aims to promote peace and human rights, particularly within ASEAN. Since 2020, they have been spreading peace and human rights messages through their content.
Sedekah Buku is a social educational community engaged in the provision of learning materials (books) for elementary-junior high school children.
Currently, they are collecting books to be distributed to 25 schools in Pamekasan Regency, Madura, East Java. Not only that, they continue to deliver books to several other areas in need in Java, Sumatra, Maluku, Sulawesi, and NTT/NTB.
Rumah Visioner is a social-educational community that focuses on the issue of dropouts around the campus of IPB Dramaga.
All beneficiaries come from underprivileged families (dhuafa) and at least have participated in learning activities at a visionary home (or visionary home partner) for 1 year.
Sahabat Anak is a child protection agency that is moved by volunteers to fulfill the rights of children, especially for marginalized children.
Their routine activities are learning and teaching by making bimbel online. Delivering interesting learning materials, and hold competitions for foster children.
Face-to-face activities are also still carried out, with proper compliance to Covid-19 protocols.
Congratulations to the four organizations that have been selected for the following benefits:
